Very nice example. Always fancied one of these but have never come across one. Thinking about it, I don't think I actually have *any* circline lamps in the collection...Should fix that sometime.

This looks like the very first Circolux model - does it have a resistor ballast in the central area Paul? They were not made for long at all, being quickly superseded by the Circolux Electronica with HF ballast in the centre, and the power consumption being reduced from 24W to 18W.

Well, they were in the shop I knew for quite literally YEARS! Then, as soon as I want them they have gone! Pah!
