Comments: | A nice old NOS example of an extremely rare (for Australia) 3500°K White tube, with my favourite Sylvania etch font. Unlike most Australian tubes, this doesn't appear to be Philips underneath as the caps are more Thorn style with square edges and oval pin insulators. Has Philips date code though, July 1978. |

I love the old Sylvania etch. Must've caused some confusion with your regular 4300K 33 white? Maybe originally made for export?

When I first saw this I assumed it was just 33 coolwhite underneath like most White tubes here are but I got this anyway because of the etch style. However, something about the W in the code made me thought it might've been 3500°K so I was delighted to see it was when I fired it up. All other col 35 tubes I've seen in Aus actually say '3500°K' on them, yep the full thing.
