I don't think I've ever seen a BC cap tube with either a metal strip or reflector before. I did used to have some starterless BC GEC fittings in NZ (SRS maybe).

Same here Al! Only BC reflector tubes I've ever seen have been in the old catalogues!

Rare tube indeed.. cannot remember seeing a BC reflector before! Although I do have a daylight Cryselco BC tube with a metal strip but it is starting to come off.
