Comments: | This is the old gear tray light won from Ebay, fully cleaned and resprayed. I bought this mostly for the gear but have grown to like it as is, so decided to restore it to it's original condition. It has a pair of hooks welded to the plate which would have been used to suspend it and was supplied with the chains. It was filthy and covered in a horrible cream coloured gloss. The back was so dusty, it was as though someone had emptied a vacuum cleaner bag onto it, it had obviously been in situ for many decades! I wish I had asked the very friendly lady I collected it from if she knew where it had come from. Got some nice components including the ballast, starter holder and lamp holders. |

Looks like new again! I do like the simplicity of it too.

What a good job, it looks great. If it wasn't for the 2 pin starter this could almost be a war-time utillity fitting!
