New Generation Of Fluorescent Streetlight?

Postby Paul » Thu Jul 14, 2011 10:00 pm

I just saw an advert for BP and their 'commitment' to the 2012 Olympics and noticed what looked like a fluorescent street light in the video. I have attached a still frame of from the advert... what do you think?

Possibly, or it could be just a random BP station, haven't they started making LED retrofits for fluorescent streetlights?

I`m guessing its a CGI`d SOX lantern, from the size it looks like a 6 foot, and I don`t think any that size are made here, could be though?
I spent all yesterday morning, on google maps, looking at BP service stations, in Upper Heyford in Biceter, where this add was made, but didn`t come across this garage

Maybe it's a GEC Z9564 SOX lantern but with a Fluoescent Tube fitted to give the impression of Dusk, also if you look the cyclist has NO Lights fitted (Better issue him with a £60 Fine)

Also if you carefully look you can see Road signs in the Background they are Not Lit, also the Cars in the Garage have NO lights Lit
