Where on earth did you find these? Also...what's with a 21" 8W? What where they used for? I'm thinking jukeboxes as they always seemed to be a good place to find oddball coloured fluorescents.

these are amasing . I've been on the look out for some coloured 8watters to run in the sfb32 bulk head. Lit pic needed.

Silvers, are they the shop in the Shoreditch area that have very unusual lamps think they were near the shop which was Great Easton Trading long gone Also there was a very good shop in Commercial St also gone, must take a trip to Silvers this was mentioned by another collector.

Silvers was the one in Commercial Street.

Paul you are right, I looked up on Google and was amazed to see they were in Commercial St still and that the business started in the 40s it had to be the same place, whether at the same address it was the right St. Another member said there was a small shop in this area which sold tubes which would fit my Japanese desk lamp, any info on that shop? In the 70s Silvers sold me some very nice neons made in the far east and he had on the counter a bowl of duds which he used for customers to identify a particular lamp. Thanks Paul for your comments, will have to take a little trip to the shop.
